Angola: HIV/Aids Patients Advised On Good Nutrition

Lubango — HIV/AIDS-positive patients have been told to eat herbal and natural products rich in nutrients and vitamins.

The fact was expressed by southern regional director of Forum of Traditional Medicine in Angola (FOMETRA), Miguel Catengue Chimbalandongo, in Lubango, southern Huila province.

The naturist doctor, who was speaking on the World HIV/AIDS Day advised HIV-positive patients to give priority to herbs and natural products such as garlic, pumpkin leaves, among others.

"Garlic, lemon, tomato salad, ginger tea, beet juice, are some elements that can neutralize the HIV/AIDS virus coupled with anti-retroviral treatment" the doctor underlined.
