Tunisia: UN Human Rights Chief Condemns Excessive Use of Force Against Protesters in Siliana

Tunis — The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Friday expressed alarm at the current unrest in the Tunisian town of Siliana. The UN Human rights chief also urged the Government to stop using excessive force against demonstrators, while also calling on the population to avoid resorting to violence.
