Tunisia: NCA Speaker Confers With Indonesian Counterpart

Indonesian Parliament Speaker Ali Marzouki asserted, on Friday, his country's support to Tunisia's democratic transition process and the will to strengthen bilateral co-operation ties in various fields.

During the talk he had with National Constituent Assembly Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar, he gave an account on the planned visit to the Gaza Strip initiated by the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation, scheduled for mid-December, as a token of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

For his part, Mr. Ben Jaafar underscored the importance to strengthen ties with the Indonesian parliament, boost the economic, trade and tourism co-operation between the two countries, as well as re-activate the bilateral agreements signed in the higher education and scientific research fields.
