Nigeria: Artistes, Comedians Rock Comedy Assembly in Abuja

It was the gathering of Abuja finest last weekend at 3Js hotel Utako Abuja, when notable faces in the Abuja entertainment scene came in their numbers to relax with best of comedy.

The beautifully dressed guests were on hand to relax and laugh out their sorrow marking the beginning of a new month of December.

The monthly show which have carved a niche for itself saw Abuja corporate comedian and MC, Dr Ayuba and Empress Njamah serving as the MCs of the day.

The maltina dance all 2011 winners, The Nelson family were on hand to choreograph some exotic dance steps that made the guests stand on their feet.

Comedians like Basket mouth, Stainless and others rendered jokes to the admiration of the people while celebrity musicians also thrilled those present at the comedy show.

According to the organiser, Comedy Assembly, he said Abuja is yet to see the classic in entertainment. He also said the Christmas edition will be the best as the first 100 people will go home with gifts.

'I want to first of all thank you for your support and also everyone who graced the comedy assembly, especially our fans that came from all across the country. The christmas edition will be bigger and better. The essence of the show is to unit entertainers of Abuja and to provide them the avenue to showcase their talents every month and the place to do that is Comedy Assembly.'

Highlight of the event was the unveiling of Miss Ambassador of peace and Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja.
