Angola: Poets At Festival in Portugal

Luanda — The Angolan poets João Maimona and Abreu Paxe participated in a festival on poetic lines, organised by Vila Nova of Famalicão in Portugal, says a note released to Angop on Monday.

According to the document, the participation of the Angolan poets in the event was at the invitation of the Presidency of Vila Nova of Famalicão county, under the trusteeship of Luís Filipe Sergilha and Jorge Velhote.

The event took place at the municipal library of Camilo Castelo Branco from 30 November to 1 December.

The festival also counted on the participation of poets, artists and professors from Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique and Spain.
