Ghana: Ato Essien Wins Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award

William Ato Essien, Founder and CEO of First Capital Plus has been awarded by Ernst & Young for exhibiting outstanding performance in the areas of entrepreneurial spirit, financial performance, strategic direction, global impact, personal integrity and influence.

He was awarded in the Emerging Entrepreneur Category at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year West Africa Awards held at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria on Friday, 24th November, 2012.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is an annual event designed to recognize, celebrate and honour entrepreneurs who through ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful business with national, regional and global appeal.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur award was founded in the USA in 1986 and it is currently held in 140 cities across 50 countries around the world.
