Ondjiva — The provincial commander of fire and civil protection department in Cunene, Joaquim Domingos António, has reaffirmed in Ondjiva, the commitment of increasing the prophylactic activities and pre-operative visits for a greater prevention against fire, Angop has learnt.

He told so to Angop, under the commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the civil protection and fire services, marked on November 30, adding that in 2013 the efforts will be focused on doubling efforts to inform more and more the population on preventive measures.

"It is our commitment of the need to redoubling actions under the preventive measures, inspection and divulgation of measures of self protection before signs of risk, taking into account what we intend for the citizens", he said.
