Angola: State Secretary of Culture Backs Inclusion of Literature, Painting

Ndalatando — The State Secretary of Culture, Cornelio Calei said that the Organisation of Agostinho Neto Pioneers (OPA) should start pondering over the inclusion of other areas of culture, like literature and painting, under its draft cultural expansion among children.

The official said so when attending the exhibition of the fifth national children's song festival held Sunday in Ndalatando, northern Kwanza Norte province sponsored by OPA.

According to him, the inclusion of these methods in the itinerary of children festivals will enable the infant and youth in general to integrate in cultural activities.

The government official, who reiterated the support of the Ministry of Culture to OPA, also defended the strengthening of patriotic education among children.
