Egypt: Nation Participates in Union for the Mediterranean Meetings On Tuesday

Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr mandated on Monday 3/12/2012 Deputy Assistant of Minister of Foreign Affairs for the EU Badr Abdel Atti to chair Egypt's delegation at the meetings of senior officials of the Union for the Mediterranean. The meetings will start Tuesday in Barcelona.

Abdel Atti will hold a coordination meeting with Arab countries' delegations.

High-ranking officials in the union will also hold a meeting for the Board of Governors of the Anna Lindh Foundation, a diplomatic source said.

Egypt has submitted to the Union for the Mediterranean a number of projects in the new and renewable energy field to be funded.
