Angola: State Secretary for Human Rights Works in Malanje

Malanje — The Secretary of State for Human Rights, António Bento Bembe, is paying since Monday a working visit to the northern Malanje, under the seminar on education for human rights culture.

After his arrival, the official was received by the provincial governor of Malanje, Norberto dos Santos "Kwata Kanawa", with whom he held a courtesy meeting.

Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting with the governor, Bento Bembe said that the seminar is starting this Tuesday and it is part of the celebration activities of the International Day of the twentieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, to be marked on 10 December.

According to him, the seminar will serve for an approach on human rights, aiming for placing the citizen on the top of the concerns.

The two-day seminar will also discuss themes related to the exercise of the civil rights and guarantee of right to identity.
