Angola: Sole List Contesting for Referees Association Leadership Approved

Luanda — The electoral commission set up for the election in the Angolan Football Referees Association (AAFA) last Monday in Luanda approved the only list contesting for the leadership of the AAFA.

The head of the contesting list is Manuel Fernando da Rosa and the election is scheduled for November 08.

The announcement was made in the premises of the Luanda Provincial Football Association (APFL) by the chairman of the electoral commission, João Osvaldo Marcelino.

Manuel da Rosa, 51, is to replace Severino Cardoso Filomeno Miranda "Smica-filho", who has been posed to be the honorary chairman by the general assembly.

The electoral campaign is already underway.
