Somalia: PM Calls to End Deadly Clan Fighting in Central Somalia

Mogadishu — Abdi Farah Shirdon, Somali PM has called to stop and end immediately a deadly clan fighting in the country's central region of Galgadud that left at least 30 people dead.

The prime minister ofSomaliasaid his government is going to send a peace committee to the region in a bid to cease the fire. He also sent his condolence to the families and friends of those lost their loves ones in the battle.

The call comes after Fierce fighting between heavily armed rival clans in war-torn Somalia has killed at least 30 people and 60 inured in a disagreement over water wells in Balaldhere, just 100 Km away from Dhusamareb city.
