Gambia: Jamsen Coach Revels in Triumph

Following his side's victory over Haddington based side Plumbi United in the finals of the Banjul Nawettan League competition, head coach of Jemsen, Omar Touray who goes by his sobriquet Jozy, has said he is very grateful forlifting the trophy for the James Senegal team.

Speaking to a sea of reporters at the KG5 Mini-Stadium following after the match, Jozy said: "We give thanks to God knowing that this is just the beginning. We are young coaches so we are trying by all means to have many trophies. This is like (winning the trophy) nothing has been done or achieved."

For his part, Plumbi United coach, Pa Modou Fatty, admitted that Jemsen deserved to win the game.
