Foundation Sports The Gambia, a charitable organisation based in the Netherlands, recently donated jerseys to The Gambia National Paralympic Committee Basketball team during a ceremony held at the Serrekunda West Mini-Stadium.

Handing over the set of jerseys, Yankuba Vermeulen, the founder of the Foundation, said: "I have already given my heart and love to the Gambian people and will continue to do so in many years to come, and I am hoping to give much more assistance and contribute my quota in the development of not only sports but education as well being my number one priority."

Ebrima Colley, the Basketball team manager who received the materials on behalf of the president of The Gambia National Paralympics Committee, Sulayman Colley, thanked Yankuba Vermeulen for his foresight and willingness to support their association, particularly the basketball team.
