There was an emotional scene at the Ivorian refugee camp in the Liberian town of Gbahn, Nimba County, recently when one of the refugees was found dead after having sexual intercourse with his girlfriend, reports said.

Ahileu Amarandjamres, 40, was found with blood oozing from his penis and wounds on his back and head over the weekend, Gbahn police officers said.

They also said they found the victim's body after it had been dragged to another location in the camp and abandoned.

After Amarandjamires and his lover identified as Bazo Noutua, 31, had had sexual intercourse, the man fell into coma and never got up again. His body was then taken away from the scene of their sexual affair, police said.

Confirming the story, the Public Affairs Section of the Liberia National Police said the authorities of the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (RRRC) have turned the body over to family members while the suspect undergoes probe.
