Eritrea: Inhabitants of Ginda Sub-Zone Called Upon to Step Up Participation in National Development Drive

Ginda — The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsigereda Woldegiorgis, called on the inhabitants of Ginda sub-zone to step up participation in national development drive. She made the call at a meeting in which she pointed out that major infrastructure facilities and various development programs are under implementation in the region.

Indicating that the regional Administration has mapped out programs targeting the proper harnessing of the available resources, Ms. Tsigereda stated that future undertakings would focus on the putting in place of more social service facilities. Moreover, she lauded the role of communities in the implementation of national development programs, and cited the construction of latent micro-dams in Mai-Habar and Nefasit areas as exemplary accomplishments in this regard.

The participants of the meeting on their part said that they would work hard for the realization of the cherished goal.
