Renowned worshipper, pastor Mark Groutas was last Friday joined by thousands of worshippers who braved the bad weather to worship at Nakivubo stadium. A heavy downpour had turned Nakivubo into a kraal but believers were not bothered as they gathered in huge numbers and worshipped the entire night.
"If God can listen to one person how about when we make a collective plea and pray...," said Pastor Wilson Bugembe who organizes the annual affair.
This is the fifth year Bugembe is hosting believers from different religious backgrounds at Nakivubo. The night also had other pastors such as Joseph Sserwadda and David Kiganda, and treated worshippers to inspirational music from local gospel artistes and a mass choir with people from different churches.
"Worshiping is very sweet; that is why when you start, you don't feel like stopping, and besides, there is a great concentration that makes people talk to their creator," said Bugembe.
