Angola: Social Concert Council Reviews Socio-Economic Issues

Luanda — The National Social Concert Council (CNCS) held Tuesday in Luanda a closed-door meeting to discuss social and economic issues concerning the country.

The meeting, the first chaired by Angolan vice president, Manuel Vicente, focused on the State Budget for 2013. The event also set to analyse the Poverty Fight Programme, the Fiscal Reform and review the General Labour Law.

In addition to Government's social partners, the meeting was attended by the ministers of Economy, Finance, Industry, Public Administration, Employment and Social Security, Energy and Water, Agriculture, Commerce, and the State secretary for Health.
