Angola: State Secretary Checks Implementation of Project in Soyo

Soyo — The secretary of State for Information Technology, Pedro Sebastião Teta, Monday visited Soyo district, in northern Zaire province, to assess the implementation of the Media Library project in the region.

The official, who said he was pleased with what he saw, added that the project is in its conclusion stage and ready to open.

Pedro Teta also said that his visit to Soyo was intended to get in touch with the final details of the achievement.

According to him, the undertaking will benefit young people of the province and the country as a whole, adding that apart from creating conditions for knowledge (reading and research), the project will also generate jobs.

The Media Library in Soyo that is ready for inauguration on 10 December will provide job for 25 youths, with 1-year training and ready to work.

The delegation included the secretary for Social Welfare of the President of the Republic, Francisco Simão Helena.
