Lubango — Over four million Angolans have won access to drinkable water since 2008, following investments made by the Government under the Water for All programme, said the national director of Waters, Lucrecio Costa.
The manager said so after a meeting with the provincial governor of Southern Huila province, João Marcelino Tyipingi, as part of his visit to assess the levels of implementations of Lubango waters programme.
Lucrécio Costa also said that the new model tested by the Government aimed at taking the programme to communities and is successful, as 47 percent of the Angolan population gained access to drinking water in quality and quantity.
