Nigeria: NPL Appoints New Zonal Coordinators

The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) has announced the dissolution of all its zonal coordinators with an immediate effect and new ones have been immediately appointed.

Emma Njoku, NPL Media Officer said in a statement that "the Zonal Coordinators of the Nigeria Premier League appointed in 2011 are hereby dissolved."

The desolved coordinators were advised to return all NPL properties in their position.

"The suspension of Akin Akinbobola shall be tabled at the forth coming congress in Kano while Hon. Sabo Babayaro is also appointed as the Chairman Advisory and Reconciliatory Committee", the NPL Media Officer added.

New Coordinators

The NPL listed the following as the newly appointed zonal coordinators:

1. Chief Festus Onu (South East)

2. Hon. Isang Isong (South South)

3. Toyin Akintunde (South West)

4. Suleiman A. Chindo (North East)

5. Dorminic Iorfa (North Central)

6. Salisu Yaro(North West)
