Kenya: MPs Praise TNA-URP Pact

Two MPs from Murang'a have praised the union between Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto. Maragua MP Elias Mbau and his Kandara counterpart Maina Kamau said they support the pact.

"Uhuru-Ruto alliance will enhance peace and stability in the county and we are sure it is the winning alliance in the next polls," said Mbau.

Speaking in Kandara town yesterday the two said the coalition is also a symbol of peaceful coexistence between people of Central and Rift valley.

Mbau said the alliance will see the country conduct peaceful elections. He welcomed back to the alliance Justice minister Eugene who quit the alliance after complaining being belittled by Uhuru and Ruto.
