Gambia: Justice Joseph Wowo, Acting CJ Visits Courts

The Acting Chief Justice of The Gambia, Justice Joseph Wowo of the Appeal Court, yesterday embarked on a tour of the courts within the Greater Banjul Areas together with the judicial Secretary, Mr. John Belford.

When asked whether he would do the same in other courts in the provinces, he responded in the affirmative but was quick to say that it would not be now.

The main purpose of the tour was not disclosed but upon his arrival at the Banjul Magistrates' court, he made inquiries as to whether everything was well and the court officials responded in the affirmative.
