Angola: National Football Squad Carry Out Another Training Session Wednesday

Lubango — The national senior males football team is holding a closed-door training session focussing on technical aspects, which will be followed by physical exercises, ahead of their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2013), scheduled for next year in South Africa.

The Sable Antelopes are on a training programme in the southern Huila Province, where they will remain until 26 December.

On Tuesday, in the morning session, striker Yano left the pitch with an injury on the wrist, but he is already back on the group, thus joining this Wednesday's session.

In the afternoon, the squad will hold another session which will focus on tactical aspects.

The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be held from 19 January to 10 February 2013.

Angola are in group A of the AFCON with Morocco, South Africa and Cape Verde.
