Liberia: Togba Nah-Tipoteh Hospitalized

The Chairperson of the Visioning 2030 Dr. Togba Nah-Tipoteh has been admitted at the St. Joseph's Catholic Hospital due to ailment.

The Freedom Alliance Party of Liberia (FAPL) political leader with the nickname 'Only man on the ground' was admitted last week Thursday.

Doctors have not disclosed his specific problem but hospital sources told this paper Monday that the veteran politician may be suffering from bladder problem.

Though the source did not detail the severity of the case, but added the former presidential candidate was responding to treatment.

Several high profile personalities, including President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf have visited him and wished him a speedy recovery. Tipoteh, 71, is Chairperson of the Visioning 2030, a national initiative geared at creating middle class Liberians.

He is expected to preside over a pending national conference Gbarnga, Bong County. The meeting, which is expected to bring together stakeholders from across the country, has been scheduled for Monday, December 10 to Wednesday, 12.
