Tunisia: Ben Moussa Calls for Building New Foundations for Relationships Between LTDH, Government

Carthage — President of the Tunisian League for Human Rights (LTDH) Abdessattar ben Moussa, Tuesday, called for building new foundations for the relationships between the League and the Government, based on dialogue and effective partnership to achieve consensus in this transition stage.

During his meeting with Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki, Ben Moussa stressed the role of the League in controlling abuses in this period, disseminating the culture of human rights and enshrining universal human rights in the new Constitution.

He discussed with President Marzouki the difficulties faced by the LTDH and its vision of reform of inherited systems.
