Angola: Organisers to Announce Candidates to Miss Angola 2013 On Thursday

Luanda — The Miss Angola Committee will present on Thursday, at Del Mar Café, in Luanda, the candidates to next year's crown.

According to a press note received by ANGOP, the objective of this event is to present to the press and some guests the 27 candidates to the Miss Angola 2013 crown.

The note states that the act will be enlivened by the musician Kizua Gourgel.

The note also states that the Miss Angola Committee has been consolidating itself with a history of seriousness and responsibility, in almost a decade of its existence.

It emphasises that after the election, in 2011, of the Angolan Leila Lopes as Miss Universe, the demands for the committee have increased, adding that besides the internal expectations, the eyes of the fashion world are turned to Angola and the work of the committee.

"After all, the main objective is not just to take care of the candidates to the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants, but also prepare them for other international challenges (...)", reads the note.
