Eritrea: Ginda Sub-Zone - More Than Four Million Nakfa Paid in Benefit Scheme to Families of Martyrs

Ginda — The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare's branch in Ginda sub-zone, Northern Red Sea region, has extended more than 4 million Nakfa in benefit scheme to 1,295 families of martyrs this year, besides rehabilitating 11 others in livestock worth 20,000 Nakfa each.

Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Seida Osman, Ms. Aisha Mohammed Seid and Ms. Mitslal Gebrekidan expressed satisfaction with the all-round support being extended by the government and the people, and said that such caring manner attests to their readiness to honor the trust of fallen heroes.

Mr. Kidane Yohanes and Mr. Jabir Idris from the regional and sub-zonal branches of the Ministry respectively explained that the rehabilitation scheme which was implemented in Massawa, Foro, Afabet and Ginda sub-zones is aimed at laying the groundwork for beneficiaries to raise their income. They further pointed out that it would be implemented in Krora sub-zone.
