Kenya: Mulembe Night Thrills

This year's second edition of Mulembe night took place at the carnivore on Friday night and was marked by the presence of a number of political aspirants from Western Kenya. Among them were Mukhisa Kituyi who stunned the crowd with his dancing skills, Shinyalu MP Justus Kizito, Nairobi mayor George Aladwa, and Dr Chris Wamalwa.

This time round, the Carnivore Restaurant made sure they did not disappoint the revellers by making sure there was sufficient busaa brewed and lots of traditional foods available.

Musician Sila wa Sila gave a sterling performance with his Isukuti drum while Webuye Jua Kali showed off their acrobatic prowess.

Chapa Ilale, Mkangala, Emmanuel Msindi, Kasmbeli Wa Tila and Ainea Mukaisi bands also performed.
