Luanda — The participants in the 14th meeting of Angola-Portugal bilateral commission of defence Wednesday voiced positive the level of fulfillment of the 2012 framework programme and the situation related to the 10 projects of technical-military co-operation, with stress to the training of staff.
The meeting was co-chaired by the directors of national defence of the Ministries of Angola and Portugal, José Higino de Sousa, and Nuno Pinheiro Torres, respectively.
The event was intended to assess the execution level of the 2011-2014 period as well as the final conclusion of the 13rd meeting held this year in Lisbon.
Participants also analysed the current situation within the community, with highlight to the decisions of the 26th plenary of the permanent secretariat for defence issues focused on boosting the performance of the national nucleolus for a better functioning of the strategic analysis centre.
