Havana — The chief of staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), General Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, Wednesday paid tribute to the Cuban heroes killed for the independence of Cuba and the African nations, Angop has learnt.
The General, who is in the Caribbean country since 26 November, laid a wreath on the site of honour to the memory of the martyrs.
The FAA high ranking officer said that the visit is intended to strengthen ties between the two States and people, as part of invitation by general of the Army Corps of gen. Leopoldo Cintra Frías, minister of Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces.
