Local Development Minister Ahmed Zaki Abdeen said that development of Sinai governorates figures high on the agenda of the political leadership in Egypt. 10 ministers are interested in providing thousands of job opportunities to the Sinai residents.
Abdeen made his remarks during a press conference held in Sharm el-Sheikh city on Tuesday 4/12/2012 with the presence of South Sinai governor Khaled Fouda and other ministers to discuss development plans and projects and demands of the citizens.
The problem of the industrial zone in Abu Zeinema will be submitted to President Morsi to issue a republican decree on setting up the industrial zone therein as a prelude to provide new job opportunities.
The minister noted that his visit to the North and South Sinai governorates last week aimed at solving residents' problems and establishing new projects in the two provinces.
