The great philosopher Karl Marx may have had present Kenya in mind when he aptly observed that history repeats itself, first as a tragedy and the second time as a farce.

The incestuous arrangement that was formally unmasked last Sunday ostensibly between TNA and URP unequivocally sat on the wrong side of history.The deal was simply a Faustian Bargain. I use the term circumspectly, bearing in mind that the jaunt to the Nakuru County was nothing but the raw display of delusions of grandeur by Messres Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
