Zambia: Nation Plays Saudi Arabia

THE Zambia developmental football team today plays Saudi Arabia in an international friendly match which will give coach Herve Renard an opportunity to assess some players for possible inclusion in the Chipolopolo squad ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations finals.

But the Zambia team boasting of 2012 Africa Cup winning squad members should inspire the local players against a Saudi Arabia side that held Argentina 0-0 during an international friendly on November 14.

The Zambian side is ranked 39th while the Saudi team is ranked 119.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 17:00 hours Saudi Arabian time (16:00 hours Zambian time).
