Kenya: AP Knocked Down By Bus in Juja Town

AP officer is fighting for his life after he was knocked down by a bus in Juja. Peter Wainaina was crossing the Thika Superhighway on his way to Juja police station, when the bus hit him.

He was going to pick KCPE exam papers for Witeithie Grasten Academy on Tuesday morning at 7am. Central Province AP commandant Joseph Keitany said Wainaina was taken to JKUAT health centre.

He was later referred to the Forces Memorial Hospital in Nairobi. Keitany said Wainaina suffered head and back injuries. The bus was towed to Juja police station. He said the incident will be investigated.
