Gammarth — Inter-Arab trade is still below the expectations despite the efforts made by countries of the region to liberalise trade and ensure regional integration.
This finding was reiterated by several Arab experts at a conference on "preferential trade agreements and regional complementarity," held by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
