Angola: Gymnastics Federation Chairman Points Goals for African Championships

Luanda — The chairman of the Angolan Gymnastics Federation (FAG), Auxílio Jacob, on Wednesday in Luanda said ending up in the three top places is the objective that has been outlined for the country's national gymnastics teams in the African championship and the Zone VI tournament, scheduled for 8-14 December in Pretoria, South Africa.

Speaking to ANGOP, after the departure of the national males and females teams for South Africa, the sports official said that the Angolan athletes are conscious and determined to fight to win as many medals as possible and be among the best.

"We've done a great preparation work with the main goal of showing our real competitive capacities.

We confident in reaching the podium of the African cup and win the southern Africa region tournament", he assured.
