Nigeria: Colonel Ali Blames Govt for Insecurity

Former military administrator of Kaduna State, Colonel Hammed Ali, yesterday blamed government for all the security challenges facing the country. Ali also spoke during the conference.

"There is no way one can explain an explosion in Jaji. I was a second lieutenant that served in Jaji and I have been attending programmes in different institutions there. Even as far back as 1979 when I was a second lieutenant, Jaji was well fortified. Who is really doing this?

"How can one explain to me that 10 soldiers will be in front of a house and people will walk into General Shuwa house, shot two people dead; his wife was shouting because she heard the gunshots but the soldiers could not do anything and these guys got on their tricycle that cannot even move faster than a bicycle and walk away. So, we need answers to these things and we must find out those behind all these", he said.
