Tunisia: Chargé d'Affaires At Tunisian Embassy in Ramallah Prevented From Joining His Post, the Presidency of the Republic Denounces

Carthage — The Presidency of the Republic strongly condemned banning by the Israeli occupation of the chargé d'affaires at the Tunisian Embassy in Ramallah from joining his post.

"This act of provocation is a reaction to the visit of the Tunisian high-level delegation to the Gaza Strip to support the Palestinians," the Presidency of the Republic explained on Wednesday in a statement, reasserting that "this will not prevent Tunisia from carrying on its support to the Palestinian people until their recovery of their legitimate rights and the establishment of their independent state with Al-Qods as its capital."
