Angola: Christian Churches Forum to Elect New Secretary-General

Luanda — About twenty leaders of various Christian denominations are gathered this Thursday, in Luanda, to elect the new secretary-general of the Angolan Christian Churches Council (CICA).

According to the press officer of the association, Daniel Ntango, the forum is making some adjustments to the mandate of secretary-general, after which the electoral process will take place.

ANGOP has learnt that there are three main contestants to the top position, namely the reverend André Feijó, rev. Deolinda Teca and rev. Viagas Bernardo.

The outgoing secretary-general of CICA is rev. Luís Guimbi.
