Libya: Nation Helps Displaced Citizens
5 December 2012
Libyan legislators adopted a plan to assist internally displaced persons, General National Congress spokesman Omar Humaidan announced on Tuesday (December 4th). A special committee will address the needs of the displaced citizens, including housing and medical care. The body has already requested facilitation of the enrolment of students in universities and monthly financial help for eligible claimants.
"The displaced persons are a part of us," Humaidan said.
