Liberia: AG Kilby Attends Graduation Ceremony of GAC - Sponsored Students in Kenya

Liberia's Auditor General, Robert Kilby, has returned to the country, following a 3-day successful visit to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. AG Kilby had gone to Nairobi to attend the graduation ceremony of some 33 General Auditing Commission (GAC)-sponsored students at the University of Nairobi.

According to a GAC press release, AG Kilby, during the visit, met with the students and the vice chancellor of the University. He also paid a courtesy call on his Kenyan counterpart- the Auditor General (AG) of Kenya at which time they had a very fruitful discussion. The GAC press release indicated that the AG was accorded a warm reception by the students.

In return, he expressed gratitude to the students for the mature and civilized manner in which they received him and assured them of a cordial working relationship upon their return.
