Eritrea: Ambassador Teklai Minassie Presents Credentials to Azerbaijani President

Asmara — Mr. Teklai Minassie has been appointed as the Eritrean Ambassador to Azerbaijan and presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Ambassador Teklai conveyed President Isaias Afwerki's goodwill to President Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people, and said that he would do his level best for the reinforcement of the economic, cultural and political ties between the two countries.

President Ilham Aliyev voiced his country's readiness to enhance relations with Eritrea, and assured the Eritrean Ambassador that he would extend him the necessary support in the course of his tour of duty. Moreover, the Azerbaijani leader wished President Isaias and the Eritrean people good luck.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that Ambassador Teklai held talks with various Azerbaijani officials regarding the ways and means of reinforcing bilateral ties and common issues of interest, including investment prospects.
