AAR Insurance Kenya has signed an agreement with Apollo Bramwell a Mauritius based multi-speciality hospital that will pave way for AAR clients to be able to access treatment at the internationally accredited facility.
The insurance company will refer some of its complicated medical cases to the hospital which is equipped with ultra-modern technology, comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities.
Speaking at the launch of the partnership AAR CEO Jagi Gakunju said that the partnership was a commitment to bring quality medical care closer home.
"As AAR continues to expand across borders, we will make it a priority to identify centres of excellence and build a quality hospital network for our clients ensuring that the services provided to them are of international standards," said Gakunju.
Apollo Bramwell has handled over 6,000 foreign patients, over 240,000 local patients and more than 10,000 complex surgeries in the last three years.
"We are glad to be presented with this opportunity to care for Kenyan patients referred by AAR," said the hospital's East Africa representative Deyan Ristic.
