Uganda: Chaos As Trailer Crashes Bodaboda Cyclist

The Police are battling raging bodaboda cyclists downtwon Kampala after a tailer crashed one of their own. The accident scene was a very disturbing image of the deceased's trunk cut into half and brain matter squashed out of his head, as it lay in the middle of the road. The deceased has been identified as Sande Nsubuga of Luwafu, Lungujja.

A Police officer at the scene said the heavy trailer was slopping from former Equatorial Hotel towards Kisekka market when it lost control and failed to brake, ramming into two stationary vehicles before running over the deceased and cutting him into half.

He said the seal of the trailer had already been broken in the chaos as people prepared to loot. The trailer is reported to have been carrying shoes.
