Kenya: Border Lions Maul Firm FC 5-1 in Amos Wako Tournament At the Busia Stadium

Border Lion beat Firm FC 5-1 in the ongoing Amos Wako football tournament at Busia Stadium on Tuesday. Alex Onyango and Jacob Mulamba scored a brace each with Innocent Kinyanjui accounting for one.

Firm's consolation goal was scored by Michael Wanzala. In another match, hosts Lwanya and Lunga battled to a 1-1 draw against Lunga.

Edgar Muga put Lwanya into the lead after 20 minutes before Newton Khaseke leveled terms ten minutes later with a scorching shot.

Nasewa won their two opening matches, beating Lwanya 2-1 and Mabunge 2-0. Nangoma beat Lwanya 3-0 while Lunga beat Mabunge 1-0.

In Butula, Obama beat Bujumba 2-0 and went on to register a similar score against Bumala. Obama had posted a goal-less drww in their opening match against Igula.

Sirimako started with a 3-2 win over New Spider and went on to beat Bukhunyi 2-0. Bwaliro were equally impressive, beating Butula 2-0 and Sikarira 2-1.
