The 4th edition of the Niko na Safaricom Live series of concerts was held last Saturday at the Afraha Stadium. The Niko na Safaricom cast comprising of funny man Jalang'o, 'Kigeugeu' singer Jaguar, the sassy Size 8, boy band Sauti Sol and urban hip hop group Camp Mulla thrilled Nakuru residents at an all night music extravaganza.
They were joined on stage by Kenyan singing sensation; Nameless with award winning gospel artistes Eko Dydda, Gloria Muliro and Allan Aaron completing the star-studded line up.
This weekend's show was anchored on the World Aids Day theme which is celebrated on the December 1 every year. The highly popular show has registered record turn outs with an estimated 55,000 fans so far turning up to watch the shows live.
The first concert was held in Meru on September 8 while the Kisumu concert was held in October to a record crowd of 25,000 fans.
The Eldoret concert was held at the Eldoret showground and was also well attended despite the cold and wet weather. The grand finale is scheduled for the December 15 at the KICC, Nairobi.
