Nigeria: Virgin Recruits More Nigerian Crew

Virgin Atlantic Airways, one of Britain's leading international carriers, has employed 15 new bright and passionate Nigerian cabin crew on its Lagos -London route to help maintain the high standards of service it has become famous for.

Virgin Atlantic pioneered the recruitment of Nigerian crew to join their work force in 2001, making the firm the first international airline to introduce indigenous Nigerian crew.

The Country Manager West Africa,Virgin Atlantic Airways, Mr. Nick Taylor said; "Virgin Atlantic is firmly committed to delivering world class customer service both on the ground and on board all our aircraft.

Our Nigerian crew have always been instrumental in not only upholding these unrivalled standards but also ensuring that the needs of our valued customers on the Lagos route are served with an understanding of local expectation and culture as well as a plentiful helping of West African flair."
