Egypt: Salvation Front - Failure to Stop Bloodshed Ends Presidency's Legitimacy

Egypt's National Salvation Front denounced on Thursday what it called "the incitement the Muslim Brotherhood is involved in" against peaceful demonstrators.

The front called for keeping all demonstrations peaceful.

"The reluctance of some bodies in taking precautionary measures to secure facilities and prevent bloodshed has made the presidency lose its legitimacy," the front said.

In a statement read by head of the Free Egyptians Party Ahmed al-Saeed, the front urged the minister of justice to appoint an independent judge to investigate the clashes the occurred on Wednesday.
