Nigeria: Wini Group Partners Global IT Security Giants

Wini Group, an international Information Technology (IT) security solutions company with a regional office in Nigeria, has joined forces with five international IT security giants to provide the best IT security and risk management for Nigeria.

The group focuses in helping organisations to identify, evaluate and strengthen the security posture of their network infrastructure, aimed at addressing the increase IT insecurity and risk in the country.

The five companies are nCIRCLE, MicroLatch, Kinetic6, Goldline and Ascendsys.

Vice Chairman Wini Group, Mr. Tim Akano, who dropped the hint in Lagos, said the nCircle's solutions enable organisations of all sizes to manage their information risk and security performance. Microlatch, he said, "is a manufacturer of portable stand-alone biometrics solutions that have an enormous application in today's expanding mobile technology sector, while Goldline Group Limited from Israel is known and trusted worldwide by private and public individuals and organisations that recognise the very real threats inherent in voice and data communications." Gold Lock 3G is a world-class software-based solution providing military-grade encryption for voice and data communications, and it offers triple layered security scheme, he said.

Ascendsys, according to Akano "is the trusted Managed Security Services (MSS) partner for small and big enterprises across Malaysia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and now Nigeria. It protects its customers' information assets by intelligently detecting threats, deterring attacks and designing the most efficient system and solutions to address the ever changing landscape of security challenges."

Akano said the partnership between Wini Group and the five organisations would enable an evolution and enhance capacity in IT security for all companies and organisations in Nigeria, and would also aid in promoting and supporting IT Security, Risk Management, Business Solutions and trainings in Nigeria.
